Having worked in the United States for a decade as an outdoor facilitator, program director and lead builder with an ACCT Professional Vendor Member, Robert brings his extensive management and construction experience to CUI as the Director of Operations for the Western Canada office.

Robert started in the industry as an outdoor apprentice with a challenge course company in northern Virginia. During this time he learned how to instruct groups of all ages in various activities such as extended backpacking trips, kayaking, canoeing, climbing and ropes courses. Having completed the apprenticeship Robert worked with the company to build and execute training programs for camps and private schools across the US before moving out of the office to become a lead builder constructing challenge courses of all types.

In his over 10 years of working in the industry, Robert has had the opportunity to build courses all over North America and abroad, combining his passion for the outdoors with his love of travelling. Between training instructors and building, Robert has managed multi-city tours for various musicians in the US, Canada, Japan and Australia. His adventurous spirit is complimented by his logistical and management experience making him a well-rounded member of the CUI team.

When he’s not working with clients, Robert enjoys hiking the beautiful trails of the West Coast and spending time with his family.
